WNC assisted Sunshine Creek with respect to the sale process through an expression of interest campaign, which attracted a lot of interest from wine businesses and industry investors.
Included in the sale was 35.17 hectares of land, the 3,600sqm winery, buildings and equipment.
The architecturally designed winery has an additional 1,500 sqm concrete hard stand and a high-end fit-out with equipment including Bucher Vaslin Vistalys optical sorter, Europress, oak fermenters, foudres and 525 KL ferment/storage capacity controlled with VinWizard automation.
The site is located on a gazette B-double road, with excellent services including high voltage 3-phase electrical supply, high-pressure natural gas, mains water plus additional water licences and a modern and reliable trade waste treatment system. Very few sites in the Yarra Valley have access to this level of services and proximity to one of the region’s leading towns.
